You will find the latest version of EndNote from the Start button > All programs > JU-Applications > EndNote > EndNote X [latest version number]. If you have not used EndNote before, the program will be distributed automatically and installed on your computer (see previous chapter Installing EndNote). Be sure to shut down all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.). The reason for this is because EndNote will also download the Word plug-in program Cite-While-You-Write (CWYW) and it will be installed into Word the next time you start that program.
This function includes tutorials on all aspects of using EndNote and also lets you search among EndNote's built-in help contents. This help function can also be found at the menu Help > Contents OR by just pressing F1.
The first thing to do once you are ready to start working with EndNote is to create a library wherein you will store all your references. More on this in the next chapter.
