When conducting an interview study, it is common to include certain quotes from the interviews in your results. These quotes do not need any citations or references, as they belong to your own research.

• If the quote contains fewer than 40 words, follow the guidelines for short quotations. Instead of a citation, write the informant's fictitious name or similar.
