How to find scholarly sources

The most convenient way to search for scholarly sources is to use one, or a couple, of the library's search tools. Primo is a good starting point when you want to orientate yourself within a subject area. Remember that Primo contains all subjects, and all sorts of publication types, hence you have to be rather precise in your use of search terms. Move on to article databases and subject databases when you need your searches to be more in-depth and specific.

Nordic research

The Nordic research repositories might be useful tools to find Nordic scholarly articles not indexed in the large international databases. The list also includes NB-ECEC, a Scandinavian database focusing on Scandinavian research on early childhood education and care.
